Insurance companies not insuring clients

When it comes to insurance contracts, customers may believe they are savvy buyers who understand the ins and outs of the terms and conditions.

However, a recent study from Monash University shows customers may not be as clued in as they think; In fact, when choosing between a good and bad policy, it’s more common to choose the latter.

Sam Baran is joined with Justin Malborn. A professor of law at Monash University and one of the authors of the study to discuss why unfulfilled promises are becoming a trend in the insurance industry.
