Interest Rates at all time low
| Interest rates were left on hold by the Reserve Bank – this means that most savings accounts are only earning very low rates – as low as 0.045% – this is great for mortgagee’s but almost nothing for self funded retirees, and very little incentive for children with their first savings accounts.
