Yunyu started as a singer/songwriter,  then got into music production. She’s since gone on to become a film composer, and then theatre composer, while also composing for games and installation. Yunyu describes herself these days as a “sonic wrangler”, which is excellent. She has also recently “accidentally become an academic”, doing a Masters at UTS exploring spatial audio. As part of this research she’s currently making a quest driven spatial song, which is about creating spatial music mapped against spatial narratives in game engines. Cool, huh?
