Interview with an Artist – Evan Pank

Each week on the Thursday Daily at 11:45am we profile an Australian artist – be they a sculptor, painter, dancer, writer – someone working in the creative sphere.

Evan Pank is a Sydney based artist working with a variety of mediums. He uses spray paint and screen printing to create images that convey an energy of angst and upheaval. Pank likes to explore the ethos of organised chaos hidden in plain sight. This is inspired by his experience with football (or Soccer to some of us) The parallels between political protest on the street and football fandom at games.
