Is the new mental health support package enough to help Aussies?

With many Australians heading back into lockdown and the country’s economy in a recession, the mental health effects have been becoming more concerning.
Yesterday Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a new mental health support package that included a further $5 million to support mental health service Head Space, $2 million to Kids Help Line and $2.5 million to Lifeline and Beyondblue.
This morning were joined by Professor Ian Hickie, Co-Director of Health and Policy at the Brain and Mind Centre at University of Sydney and former CEO of BeyondBlue, on the line to talk about it.
