Is the Smith and Warner booing hurting the Cricket World Cup?
The Cricket World Cup is well under way, with Australia winning their match against Pakistan overnight.
But one of the main talking points has been the booing of the Australian players Steve Smith and David Warner by the English crowds after their return from a 1 year suspension.
Indian captain Virat Kohli has now asked his fans to stop booing, and the Federation of International Cricketers Association has called upon other captains to do the same.
To discuss the booing at the world cup, I’m joined by Dr Steve Georgakis, Senior Lecturer of Sports Studies at the University of Sydney.
