Happy International Women’s Day!! 

The theme of International Women’s Day 2025, is For ALL Women and Girls: Right. Equality. Empowerment. To discuss further what this year’s theme represents for women and the future for gender equality, The Monday Daily spoke with Dr Ramona Vijeyarasa. Dr Ramona Vijeyarasa  is an expert in women’s rights and gender equality from being a Chief Investigator behind the Gender Legislative Index, an academic of law at University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a lawyer who has worked extensively in improving women’s services.

Dr Ramona discussed her work researching on the Gender Legislative Index, current barriers we face for achieving gender equality and her passion and ongoing advocacy for women’s rights.
