Sally sat down with Melbourne-based painter Jack Irvine to talk about his exhibition at aMBUSH Kambri in Canberra.

Completed during Melbourne’s lengthy lockdown in 2020, the vibrant exhibition includes two dozen paintings and asks viewers to consider the small things in life that can easily be taken for granted.

Simple Pleasures features art that Jack created for Australian surf rock trio, Skegss, with whom he began collaborating five years ago. Jack has also created merchandise artwork for global superstars Billie Eilish, Troye Sivan and BENEE.
