Japanese companies urged to tackle climate change action
In Japan, shareholders are calling to multinational companies to be more transparent with their climate action targets to achieve a net-zero emissions target.
Companies like Mitsubishi and Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings are some of the companies in the spotlight by shareholders Market Forces and Friends of the Earth Japan.
These organisations have proposed more actions so these companies achieve these targets.
