Javier Milei’s government to repeal femicide crime laws
Last week, Argentinian president Javier Milei announced his government will scrap the femicide crime laws, arguing they were ‘woke’.
Experts are concerned this move may have a ripple effect across Latin America with already laws implementing femicide as a crime.
