The 71st Sydney Film Festival will feature over 200 films including a documentary line-up not to miss!
Jenny Neighbour, Head of Programs and Documentary Programmer at the Sydney Film Festival, joins 2SER to chat about the festival commencing June 5th at various venues around Sydney.
Jenny is recognised for outstanding contributions to Australian cinema, a 35-year commitment to Sydney’s Film Festival, and notably received the 2023 NSW/ACT Cinema Pioneer of the Year award from the long-standing Australian Cinema Pioneers.
Additionally, an exciting award has been introduced at this year’s festival for Indigenous filmmakers across the globe: The First Nations Award, a $35,000 cash prize!
