The Jobs and Skills summit formed part of the ALP platform for the recent Federal Election and we have been waiting to see what form it will take, who will be invited and when it will take place.

Today we were told it will be on the 1st and 2nd September, and that it would be about creating better opportunities, higher living standards and higher wages.  No small task with economic headwinds heading towards our economy.
