Why is John Hewson campaigning for you to change electricity providers?

The renewable energy sector is in turmoil after the Clean Energy Council put forward a compromise position to the government to lower our renewable energy target by almost thirty percent. Some say reducing the target will destroy the industry which the scheme is there to drive in the first place. And organisations like Get up, along with former Liberal Party LEader John Hewsonare saying the move is just bowing to pressure from the big energy retailers – Origin, AGL and Energy Australia.
