Over the past 2 decades we’ve seen six different prime ministers take the reign of Australia along with a variety of different policies and changes.

With the recent release of the Howard Cabinet papers from 2000, Tina Quinn spoke with Dr Chris Wallace, Associate Professor from the Faculty of Business, Government and Law at the University of Canberra, to discuss how this transformative time in Australian politics continues to inform the current state of play.

Dr Wallace is the Official Historian at the National Archives of Australia, for the Year 2000 Cabinet Papers release, and the author of ‘How To Win An Election’.
