Julie Bishop: Rohingya can be used by ISIS
Half-a-million Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar’s Rakhine state have been persecuted in the recent humanitarian crisis. Foreign Minister Julie Bishop said this violence may lead to boarder insecurity, possibly an increase in terrorist attacks. Bishop is strongly urging for this situation to be stopped as soon as possible and the department of foreign affairs has stated that Australia maintains arm embargo to Myanmar. Dr. Binoy Kampmark, a Senior Lecturer in Department of Global, Urban, and Social Studies from RMIT University joined us this morning.
