‘Un-Australian’ is embedded in our national vocabulary to spread nationalistic ideals, but what is it to be ‘Australian’?
Head to the Museum of Sydney for the Just Not Australian exhibition. Presenting works from 20 artists across generations and diverse cultural backgrounds, showcasing a broad exploration of race, place and belonging, with satire, larrikinism and resistance. Curated by Artspace and developed in partnership with the Sydney Festival and Museums and Galleries of NSW, the exhibition is touring nationally.
