“Keep(ing) Your Peace” with Allerdyce

If you haven’t heard of her yet – I’m about to put you onto your new favourite artist. Trust me.

Meet Allerdyce, a 21-year-old artist from Sydney, who just dropped her latest single, ‘Keep My Peace’.

Between her stellar vocals, the cosmic instrumentation and that sick sax breakdown, this is a song that you won’t be able to listen to just once. It has the energy and confidence that comes with years of making music, and it’s hard to comprehend that this is only her second single.

She joined Dream State host, Jasmin Williams to chat about some of her favourite songs, that one time she did a sick mashup of Abba and Boney M, and how she keeps her peace.

She’s having a single launch event on the 25th of October at the Vanguard in Newtown. You can get tickets here, and check out her single ‘Keep My Peace’ anywhere you can get music.

Tune in this Sunday, and every Sunday after that between 8am and 10am for a fresh playlist full of your new favourite queer, female and non-binary artists.
