The ketogenic – or keto for short – diet is the latest health trend to have taken the social media world by storm. The diet calls for a small amount of carbohydrates, a moderate amount of protein, and a large amount of fat per day. This means that the body uses fat as its main source of fuel, and breaks it down in a process known as ketosis.
