Kickin’ up some dust

The Novocastrian (fancy word for Newcastle-based) five-piece outfit dust comprise of dual guitarist-vocalists Gabriel Stove and Justin Teale, bassist Liam Smith, guitarist-and-saxophonist Adam Ridgway, and drummer Kye Cherry. Their debut EP et cetera, etc have been making serious waves in Australian music with their visceral, kinetic, contemporary take on post-punk — with an injection of electronica and experimental jazz for good measure — catching the attention of NME, Vice and more.

Drummer Kye had a chat with 2SER’s Jono on Thursday Drive ahead of their gig at Oxford Art Factory tomorrow (9 June, 2023). Tickets are available here.
