Kicking it with the Kids at the Climate Strike
Friday 20th September saw over 80,000 Sydney-siders descend on the Domain for the Global Climate Strike.
Lead by some of Sydney’s youngest residents, the crowds brandished ingenious signs and their loudest chants to demand that the government take a more proactive and forward-thinking stance on climate policy. This event was purposely organised three days out from the UN’s Emergency Climate Summit.
Friday Drive host and resident cool-dad Danny Chifley caught up with some of the students to get their take on why this issue is so important to them, and the message they want our politicians to hear.
