Kids face eco anxiety in the face of eco disaster

Mental health organisation Reach Out has released a report that reveals 77% of young people don’t think the Australian Government is doing enough about climate change, and over 85% are scared to have children due to the effects of our warming planet.
Psychologists fear that these concerns are turning into mental health problems, such as the newly coined ‘eco-anxiety’ and depression. Eva Blakemore speaks to child and educational psychologist Andrew Greenfield about how this will effect the next generation.
