King Dingo exhibition by Vincent Namatjira at the Ames Yavuz Gallery in Surry Hills
King Dingo is a new exhibition by renowned artist Vincent Namatjira at Ames Yavuz Gallery in Surry Hills.
This new series is imbued with Namatjira’s signature biting and irreverent wit depicting dingos dressed in royal regalia. King Dingo represents Aboriginal strength, pride and resilience, and respect for Country, culture and Indigenous leadership.
It will be on display at the Surry Hills gallery from 31st August till 5th October, Ames Yavuz gallery director Alanna Irwin joined Danny for a chat on the 2SER Breakfast Show.
