KING Goes Global: A chat with Shaun Parker
During WorldPride Sydney earlier this year we spoke to director and choreographer and director Shaun Parker about his show KING. KING is a music-dance collaboration between award-winning Australian Director/Choreographer Shaun Parker, internationally renowned Bulgarian-born Vocalist Ivo Dimchev. Set in a fantastical realm that is part-cocktail bar, part-jungle, KING explores modern masculinity, male sexuality and identity in a biting and humorous manner through song and dance. Now, from their success at WorldPride, KING is going international with performances across Germany and Luxembourg before appearing at Bolzano Danza in Italy as a headline act. Shaun Parker joined us to tell us more.
