King Stingray drop fresh new single ‘Lookin’ Out’

Are your ears crying out for new music?

Well, the Yolngu surf rock band King Stingray’s latest single ‘Lookin’ Out’ might just be the next big thing to soundtrack the rest of your 2023. The new single is our first taste of new material since their debut album ‘King Stingray’ (2022) and embodies the classic King Stingray sound (a mix of ancient melodies with heavy surf rock hooks).

The core message within this new release is unity “We have no idea what our future holds, but if we can find a way to work together we’ll be on the right track!“.

Coming from a small place the release reflects upon how glazing at the beauty of Mother Earth removes our day-to-day worries, which is a big issue many people struggle with it. Guitarist Roy Kellaway explains it best. “We are a band from a small place and we’re singing about big things!“.
