King

King is a theatre production that uses different dance movements in this new “kingdom” to explore masculinity, control, and group dynamics amongst men. The music-dance collaboration also urges the audience to think and feel differently about the way society presents itself.

The production is premiering as part of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival and our producer Dyan Tai speaks to Shaun Parker about King and what the audience can expect on opening night.

King, Seymour Centre, February 20 – 24, 7.30pm, tickets are $39-$49.
