In his victory speech, incoming Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese reaffirmed his party’s commitment to Indigenous Australians and Closing the Gap.

He outlined Labor’s commitment to implementing the Uluru Statement of the Heart and enshrining an Indigenous Voice to Parliament and government within the constitution.
