Labor promises a Centre for Disease Control and Prevention

The Australian Labor Party has promised a Centre for Disease Control and Prevention if they win the election, but advocates warn Australia needs more investment in public health, particularly in the workforce. The centre will help Australia to be better prepared for future pandemics and to control infectious diseases better.
