The lack of Quality of Hollywood Blockbusters 2016

Major Hollywood Blockbusters have taken over the film Industry, with the majority of films that are causing hype either revolve around Superhero films or anything that is based on Intellectual properties. However, it’s become aware that this year the majority of films financially underperformed compared to what the studios expected and have been reviewed terribly by fans and critics.

Does this mean there is a calling for original material in Hollywood?
