A new report from Queensland’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak reveals First Nations children experiencing domestic and family violence are not receiving adequate support from child protection services, education, and health services. 

The report states this lack of support has resulted in increased harm and life-long consequences for children. 

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander chief investigators created a new innovative framework to provide evidence-based and community-lead practices to young First Nation kids prioritizing healing and recovery.
