Landless Bodies

Landless Bodies is the result of a collaboration between Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Canberra.

This exhibition explores contemporary diasporic Arab women artists’ experiences of gender, without fixed locales.

Landless Bodies features works by both Moroccan based and Australia based artists Fatima Mazmouz, Batoul Shimi, Cherine Fahd, Safaa Erruas, Fatima Killen and Ms Saffaa.

Our producer Nicole Beck spoke with curator Lizzy Marshall about Landless Bodies, in particular her experience working with the Moroccan Embassy in the curatorial process.

Landless Bodies, Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, 6 Oct 2018 – 11 Nov, free
