What is the leading causes of death in Australia?
Yesterday the Australian Bureau of Statistics released the leading causes of death in Australia. Heart disease once again claimed the highest number of deaths and it has held the spot of number one for the past decade. Dementia has moved up to the second highest cause of death in Australia and since 2010, its fatality toll has risen by 40 per cent. Despite research in Australia and abroad there have been no successful cures for the disease. Danielle McCarthy discusses death in Australia.
