The cost of cyber crime is projected to reach US$2 trillion this year, but a massive shortfall in Australian cyber security workers could leave us vulnerable to attack. Now universities like Macquarie are helping build Australia’s next generation line of defence. Christophe Doche, Executive Director of the Optus Macquarie University Cyber Security Hub and architect of Macquarie’s cyber security degree programs, talks to Sean Britten about this growing need.
