The letters of Otto Frank, father of Anne Frank
Have you read the diaries of Anne Frank?
The diary of a young girl hiding with her family from the Nazi’s in Amsterdam continues to inspire and affect those who read it.
A number of Australians felt so moved by the diary that they contacted Otto Frank, father of Anne. Much to their surprise he wrote back and it’s this correspondence that forms the exhibition Anne Frank – A history of Today. You can see copies of the letters written to Otto and the originals of his replies.
I was joined by Dr Diana MacLean, one of those who wrote to Otto and Anne Skurray, curator of the exhibition.
