LGBTIQA+ Action Plan good, but not far enough
Following broad public consultation with the LGBTIQA+ community earlier this year.… the Federal government has recently launched a 10-year action plan to improve the health and wellbeing of the LGBTIQA+ community.
The government has pledged $15.5 million to kickstart the road map and address system wide disparities experienced by the LGBTIQA+ community..
While some advocacy groups commend the plan, others say a more targeted approach is needed to adopt recommendations in previous reviews.
