LGBTQIPA: The Importance Of Language
With Sydney’s annual Mardi Gras right around the corner we can celebrate how far we have come in term of rights for LGBTQIPA groups. However we still have a way to go in terms of dealing with issues of discrimination within society. To discuss the history and the current use of discriminatory language against LGBTQIPA groups The Daily was joined by Peter Robinson, Senior lecturer in History and Sociology, Swinburne University of Technology.
