Lifeline to Receive $34 Million in Funding
Tuesday’s Federal Budget saw the announcement from Treasurer Scott Morrison that crisis support and suicide prevention service Lifeline would receive an additional $34 million of funding over the next four years. With a new call being made to Lifeline’s 24 hour telephone crisis support service every 32 seconds, this funding increase will enable Lifeline to continue to support people in need.
