Who is most likely to use alternative medicine?

You might be surprised to hear that over 70% of Australians use some form of complementary and alternative medicine.

Complementary and alternative medicine sits outside conventional heath care, and includes things like acupuncture, multivitamins, massage therapy, yoga and chiropractics.

New research shows that women in particular are high users of complementary and alternative medicine, as are people with chronic illnesses.
