Liz Truss resigns as the Prime Minister of the UK
In a surprising move last night, Liz Truss resigned as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom only 45 days after she was sworn in.
With turmoil around her proposed budget, she decided to step down because she couldn’t deliver more results.
Some reports speculate Boris Johnson might nominate himself to lead the party again.
