Has there been a hotter topic in Sydney over the past few weeks, than the lockout laws?
Opinion has been flying from all directions since the emotive 8 and a half thousand word document from Matt Barrie at the start of the month. A NSW govt review of the controversial laws is about to commence and a huge rally is being organised for Sunday, the issue doesn’t appear to be going anywhere in a hurry.
Today, we were hoping to provide a balanced discussion on the topic with anti and pro lockout law advocates, however finding people that are pro-lockout to talk to us here at 2ser has been tough. We made calls to the Deputy Premier and Minister for Justice, Troy Grant as well as St. Vincent’s Head of Emergency, Gordian Fulde, To provide an opinion from the anti-lockout side, we have Osman Faruqi in the studio.
