Georgia Field‘s third album Hiraeth is out now, an ode to the many languages of longing.

The album takes its title from a Welsh word with no direct translation, referring to a profound longing for a home you can’t return to as it no longer exists.

Ever the sonic shapeshifter, to celebrate the release of Hiraeth, Georgia will be in town performing a solo show at the Lazybones Lounge in Marrickville, Thursday 24 November 2022, supported by Lisa Caruso.

Georgia joins 2SER Breakfast to discuss the themes of the new album, interpreting these songs as a solo performance and juggling motherhood with being a mother of invention.
