Last Friday marked the end of the 29th annual United Nations Climate Change Conference, otherwise known as COP29. This year’s meeting was dubbed the ‘finance COP’, with much of the discussion focusing on sourcing funds to battle climate change. Lecturer Milena Bojovic from Macquarie University joins us on the Monday Daily as we break down the challenge of fairly dishing out financial responsibility for climate change while looking at how it was discussed at COP29.
