The Government has allowed a research study to go ahead in Queensland to catalogue Psychedelic Mushrooms in Australia. Research is already underway in the US but there are a variety of species that are native to Australia which is why the study is being done here. If approved for medicinal use they could be used in Psychiatric sessions to dig deeper as well as to ease the fear with terminally ill patients. We talked more about the potential application of this drug with psychological expert and researcher Dr Stephan Bright from Edith Cowan University.
