Magpie Swooping Season
Spring is a beautiful time of year; the days become warmer, the flowers start to blossom, and new fauna is born. Unfortunately, it also means the hayfever will begin to set in, and Magpie swooping season is upon us.
Dr. John Martin, a research scientist and terrestrial ecologist from the Taronga Zoo Institute of Science and Learning, joined Breakfast’s Willy Russo to talk about Magpies and how we can protect ourselves from being swooped on (hint: having a KFC bucket hat will help!).
