Making LGBTQIA+ Language Accessible

 LGBTQIA+ inclusive language is a very important part of creating identities, and there are people out there creating a multicultural inclusive resource to explain the different identities and language used in different languages that may not have the words to describe them like in english. RMIT and AGMC (Australian GLBTIQ Multicultural Council) are striving to create such a resource. We spoke about this some more and why this is important to one of the researchers in RMIT’s translating and interpreting, Professor Miranda Lai.
