Making Sydney safer for cyclists

“I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike” QUEEN sings it because QUEEN knows the public want it, but how safe is it to ride on Sydney’s roads and footpaths, and what is being done to keep it safe and accessible?

Representing bike riders in NSW since 1976, Bicycles NSW advocates with State and Local Governments for safe bicycle infrastructure to create a better environment for all bicycle riders. They’re here to change the way we think about bicycle use in NSW – and we’re here for it.

Bicycles NSW is a not-for-profit community organisation providing its members with global, comprehensive rider insurance and legal support, so cycling can be a choice as a viable and safe transport option. Bicycles NSW’s CEO, Peter McLean chats with Danny Chifley on the 2ser Breakfast Show.
