Growing Calls for Sex Characteristics Defined as a Continuum
Recent research shows that intersex people are heavily marginalised in Australian medical texts. This is an unfortunate trend as intersex people have been discriminated against in health care systems for decades. There are fresh calls for health medical students to be learn about sex characteristics as a continuum, rather than just as male or female.
