Manyana’s Occupy The Fence Exhibition
Last week we brought you a story about a threatened patch of bushland in the South Coast town of Manyana, and the fight to save it. The fight continues and it’s taken an artistic turn. This weekend marks the beginning of a unique exhibition that hopes to shine a broader spotlight on this precious land. “Occupy The Fence ” is a collaborative outdoor exhibition of works by prominent Australian artists. The works are being hung along the mesh fence that surrounds the land. Artist Lara Merrett is the driving force behind the exhibition.
