Tiernan Brady on the Marriage Equality Survey, What Happens Next?
The ballots are closed as the ABS has accepted the last round of postal surveys just yesterday, and now Australians are all waiting patiently to see the results on November 15th. While early numbers are showing some good results for the YES campaign, it seems as if members of the Coalition are interested in adding amendments to the Marriage Bill that may allow LGBTQI people to marry, but may also divorce them from other rights.
