May Day: Worker’s Rights

May 1st is International Workers Day and taking to the streets in aid of worker’s rights is a collective of unionists and activists here in Sydney this morning, although COVID-19 and social distancing has made it a little difficult to do the march in the traditional way and they’re having to travel by car instead.

To talk to us all about what May 1st means for workers and what this morning’s convoy is all about we were joined by Sydney Branch Secretary of the Maritime Union of Australia, Paul McAleer.
