Media Reform: Past and Present

Communications minister Mitch Field has announced a new media reform including removing the reach rule, stopping television networks from broadcasting to more than 75 per cent of the population, and the two-out-of-three rule, preventing media companies from owning a TV station, radio network and newspaper in the same market. Vincent O’Donnell , honorary research associate of the school of media and communication at RMIT University joined us earlier to talk about all things media reform past and present.
